A few simple (very simple) tips on staying physically fit
1. Avoid a close friendship with junk food. Simple as pie…..wait, did I just say pie? Grabbing a piece of graduation cake here and a treat from the ice cream truck there does add up the calories. Did you know that the small Chocolate Extreme Blizzard from DQ contains a whopping 660 calories!! I’m not the dessert Nazi either, believe me. I’ve had my share of yummy treats! But I try to balance the calories coming in with the calories going out. If you eat that blizzard, maybe get in an hour of running. A 140 lb woman can burn 672 calories at a 6mph pace.
